ActionSwitch to a sustainable bank

Switch to a sustainable bank

Your bank invests your money. Choose one that invests sustainably and socially, and make an impact without any extra effort.

Description

What we find interesting: The bank you choose makes a huge difference. Banks use your (savings) money to invest in projects and companies. Unfortunately, some banks still finance fossil fuels, while others choose sustainable energy and projects that contribute to a better world. By switching to a bank that invests sustainably and fairly, you can make a positive impact with your money without putting in any extra effort yourself.

3 more reasons to switch to a sustainable bank:
  • According to the Rainforest Action Network's "Banking on Climate Chaos 2022" report, 60 of the world's largest banks have invested more than $4.6 trillion in fossil fuel projects since 2016. Switching to a sustainable bank helps break this system.
  • Dutch sustainable banks focus their investments on projects that contribute to a better society, including social housing, sustainable real estate development, healthcare, and arts and culture.
  • Did you know that larger Dutch banks like ING and ABN Amro received a 4-star rating from the Fair Finance Guide in 2023?

Go to Eerlijke Geldwijzer and see how your bank scores on sustainability, human rights and other themes
  2. 2

  3. 3
Use the Transfer Service to easily transfer your banking affairs to a new bank, it only takes you 15 minutes
  4. 4
Tell friends and family about your switch and encourage them to take a critical look at their bank too
