Bieb in Bloei – Green meeting place in the heart of Oost
In the OBA (public library) on Linnaeusstraat, you'll find a facade garden full of growing greenery, a cutting cabinet where you can swap plants, and a seed library where you can borrow or donate seeds. The library will become so much more than just a place to borrow books: it will become a green meeting place for the neighborhood. A place where you can learn about sustainability, connect with others, and build something beautiful together. Greener, more welcoming, and more for everyone.
Why we like it The Bieb in Bloei originated from the Oost Neighborhood Campus, where the OBA collaborates with students from the AUAS (University of Applied Sciences). It's wonderful to see how their ideas have grown into a place that truly adds value to the neighborhood.
