Boer in de buurt is a collective of farms in and around Amsterdam.
Would you like weekly, pesticide-free vegetables from a farmer near you? Boer in de buurt brings together community farms (CSAs) in and around Amsterdam. At these farms, you can take out a harvest share (subscription). This gives you a weekly box of fresh, unsprayed, seasonal vegetables that you can harvest yourself or collect.
As a subscriber to one of the community farms, you provide the farmer with a guaranteed outlet for an entire year. This allows the farmer to plan ahead more effectively, and you become part of what happens on the land together with the farmer, through both good times and challenges.
Why do we like this? Because you’re not only eating sustainably and locally, but also becoming part of a growing movement that reconnects food production with the city. You support farmers in your region and eat along with the seasons.
