Bond van Volkstuinders: green spaces accessible to everyone
The Association of Allotment Gardeners manages dozens of allotment gardens throughout Amsterdam. As a resident, you can register for your own garden, but you are also welcome to visit the gardens or participate in activities such as tours, courses, and open houses. The network encourages natural gardening and makes urban nature accessible to everyone who wants to enjoy peace, greenery, and the outdoors.
Why do we like this? Because the allotment gardens show how everyone, with or without a garden of their own, can contribute to a greener, healthier city.
