De Ceuvel
Creative hotspot in Amsterdam-Noord where old houseboats, clean energy, and soil-purifying plants come together.
Description
De Ceuvel: Sustainable incubator on a former shipyard
De Ceuvel is an experimental and circular space in Amsterdam-Noord. Former houseboats have been converted into studios and offices on a polluted shipyard.
A garden purifies the soil, solar energy is generated, and Café de Ceuvel, where local and plant-based food takes center stage, grows around it.
It's a place where sustainability and creativity go hand in hand.
Why do we like it? Because De Ceuvel shows that sustainability can also be creative and atmospheric. A former site is becoming a vibrant space full of green ideas, circular solutions, and collaboration – right in the heart of the city.
