De Natuurkamer: experiencing nature together in the city
De Natuurkamer is a social enterprise in Amsterdam-Nieuw-West, located near Sloterpark. They work with over 70 volunteers, managing gardens, a playground, providing educational programmes, and organising events, all with attention to nature, people, and the environment.
Why do we like this? Because this place shows that urban nature and community power go hand in hand: greenery, learning, and coming together in one project that includes everyone.
