Green Libary
A unique reading spot in Amsterdam East with a combination of books on nature, gardening, and sustainability, right in the heart of the Tugela85 community garden.
Description
Green Library - 20 meters of 'green' books
The Green Library is a unique reading library in the Robiniatuin Kamer of Tugela85, a cultural hub in the Transvaal neighborhood. What began with a single book by initiator Eelco has grown into a 20-meter collection of books on topics such as permaculture, food forests, foraging, and ecology. The library is free to enter and offers a place to read, take notes, and share experiences with other green enthusiasts.

Why do we like it? The Green Library combines green knowledge with social connection. It's more than a collection of books; it's a meeting place where local residents learn together and work towards a more sustainable living environment. Meet people with similar interests and let Eelco help you find the right books to read while overlooking the beautiful courtyard.
The library can only be visited during opening hours: please check the website for more information.
