Groene Stoep Stappen: Bringing greenery to your neighborhood With Green Sidewalk Walks, you'll work with neighbors in specific streets or neighborhoods to green up their neighborhoods. This includes creating a facade garden, maintaining tree pits, or creating a sidewalk garden. Paving stones are removed and plants are planted. This helps rainwater seep into the ground, keeps the street cooler on hot days, and creates space for bees and other wildlife. This only applies to pre-registered streets or neighborhoods where Green Neighborhoods coordinates the project.
