MeerEnergie Amsterdam - Together towards a natural gas-free neighborhood
MeerEnergie is developing a neighborhood heating network by and for the neighborhood. By switching to this network, you can transition your home to natural gas-free in a sustainable, easy, and affordable way.
The network uses residual heat from a data center at Amsterdam Science Park. By signing an initial contract, you indicate your intention to switch in the future and, together with your neighbors, make the network possible.
MeerEnergie needs sufficient initial contracts to take the next steps. Your signature is therefore important!
Why do we like it? An entire neighborhood working together to transition away from natural gas – we find that inspiring. MeerEnergie shows that big change starts small: with neighbors joining forces and choosing to take control of their own energy. It's local, smart and hopeful.
