Every last Saturday of the month, you can drop off your recyclable items at a community recycling point run by volunteers in the Aldi/Pet's Place passage in De Pijp.

Recycling point Cornelis Troostbuurt: recycle in your own neighbourhood Every last Saturday of the month, you can drop off small electrical appliances, hard plastic, metal, wood and frying fat for two hours at the Aldi/Pet's Place passage. The place is run by neighbourhood volunteers and is an initiative of Stichting Netwerk De Pijp. Want to help out? Email info@netwerkdepijp.nl.
Why do we like this? Because it shows how small actions can make a big impact. No large organisation, just neighbours rolling up their sleeves! No need to cycle far, you recycle right around the corner, at a fixed time, together with people from your own street.
