Urban Farming Amsterdam
Amsterdam’s Urban Farming Map shows where in the city you can take part in community gardens, neighbourhood farms, or urban agriculture projects.
Description
Urban Farming Amsterdam: greenery in your neighbourhood
With the municipality’s interactive Urban Farming Map, you can see at a glance all the places in Amsterdam where urban agriculture takes place, from community and allotment gardens to school gardens, city farms, rooftop gardens and urban plots. This way, you immediately know where you can get involved or find fresh, locally grown fruit and vegetables. Residents, volunteers and entrepreneurs work together to garden, harvest, and share or sell local food.

Why do we like this? Because it brings urban farming within reach. You don’t need to buy or rent land yourself, you can find an existing garden in your neighbourhood. This allows you to take part in sustainable food production, meet your neighbours, and help make the city greener.
