IJplein Food Garden: vegetables for the Food Bank
Volunteers work at the IJplein Food Garden on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings. They grow organic vegetables, herbs, and fruit, without pesticides, and donate their harvests to the Food Bank and Resto van Harte. They also offer vegetable gardening courses and general workshops.
Why do we like it? Because you're working together on something concrete and valuable: growing fresh vegetables for people who can really use them. And you learn something yourself.
