Zon op Zuid

Zon op Zuid – Local renewable energy for the neighbourhood Zon op Zuid is an energy co-operative in Rotterdam South that is committed to locally generated, renewable energy for everyone in the neighbourhood. They develop collective solar roof projects in which residents can jointly invest to generate green electricity for local use. As a member, you can help decide on projects, take part in energy-saving programmes, and contribute to creating an energy-neutral and socially connected neighbourhood. The profits from the generated energy are reinvested into new sustainable initiatives in the area, strengthening the local community.
