A Peek Inside the Greenhouse at De Ceuvel

At De Ceuvel, there is a unique circular greenhouse: the Aquaponic Greenhouse. On 19 and 26 September, you can pop in to have a look around the greenhouse on top of the Metabolic between 10.00 and 12.00. Gardener Andrei Becca will be on hand to offer advice on growing plants, modern food production, aquaponics and hydroponics, and ecological pest control, and you can help out with tasks in the greenhouse. Entry is free and you can simply pop in. The greenhouse is experimenting with water-saving food production and organic growing methods in the city. To find it, turn left onto the path by the Café and then take the stairs up.
