A wild start: are you in?

It’s HarvestMonth, so we’re starting the day by connecting with nature and discussing how nature and culture can share the same ground. On Monday 5 October, you’ll begin your working day at the NDSM with a guided tour of the exhibition Come Back to Your (Nature/Culture) exhibition, led by Treehouse artist Alina Bielun. Afterwards, we’ll head outside to explore nature in the neighbourhood, looking for plants with a colonial past that have ‘naturalised’ here, and the stories behind them. Tamara van Witzenbug (FEELY) will talk about smudgesticks and the use of plants and herbs grown in the Netherlands. At 10.30 am, you’ll head off to work feeling inspired and having made new connections. Tip: bring a colleague along and sign up here.
