Amsterdam CleansDay – 18 September 2026

Amsterdam CleansDay takes place on 18 September 2026 and is a large-scale clean-up campaign in which more than 30,000 Amsterdammers come together to tidy up the city. The event invites everyone to join friends, neighbours and colleagues in cleaning up their own neighbourhood or street. The initiative arose from a collaboration between Monks, The Social Hub and B Lab, and is supported by the City of Amsterdam and various companies and organisations. The day aims to make the city cleaner, raise awareness about litter and encourage lasting behavioural change by connecting with neighbourhood initiatives and community organisations.
