Animal Monologue

On this World Animal Day, you can join the ‘chicken monologue’ at 1.00 pm and the ‘cow monologue’ at 3.00 pm. You’ll settle down comfortably amongst our animals whilst storyteller Wim van Oort recites from the animal’s own perspective (not suitable for young children). The story highlights how the animals express their true nature, what their natural needs are, and how they cope with situations on the farm and at the end of their lives. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for an open discussion with visitors about the dilemmas facing the livestock farming sector. There is a ‘donation hat’ where you can put something in if you wish. No booking is required.
