Butterfly excursion
Description
This summer, you can join an excursion in one of the most visited parks in our city: Sarphatipark! Discover the ecological value of this green oasis by counting butterflies. For butterfly enthusiasts, we are organizing a series of butterfly excursions in Sarphatipark and the garden of Huis van de Wijk De Pijp.
We will meet at 3:15 PM at Het Groen Gemaal and finish at 4:45 PM at the end of the afternoon. The excursions will take place on:
Friday, July 10, 2025 Friday, August 7, 2025 Friday, August 21, 2025 (Night Moth Special! Starting at 9:00 PM at Het Groen Gemaal and lasting until no later than 12:30 AM) Friday, September 11, 2025
We hope to discover lots of butterflies under the guidance of Stefan Lemmers. The excursion is free! Please register in advance at info@groenebuurten.nl (in case the excursion needs to be cancelled, for example due to bad weather).
