"De Standaard" DIY bicycle repair workshop

De Standaard DIY bike workshop is an accessible community bike kitchen at De Ceuvel where residents of Amsterdam Noord can learn to repair and maintain their own bikes with the help of a bike mechanic every Friday in July, August, September, October and November 2026 (except 31 July and 7, 14 and 21 August) can learn to repair and maintain their own bikes with the help of a bike mechanic. The workshop is open from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Maakbar on Ceuvelplein (outdoors, under cover). Admission is free; use of the space, tools and guidance is free of charge, and donations are welcome. De Standaard focuses on repairs and maintenance, with an emphasis on sustainability, social interaction and self-reliance.
