"De Standaard" DIY bicycle repair workshop

This community bike kitchen is an accessible bike repair workshop at De Ceuvel, where you can pop in every Friday in 2026 to learn how to repair and maintain your own bike with the help of an experienced bike mechanic from De Standaard by your side. The workshop is open from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Maakbar on Ceuvel Square (outdoors, under cover). Entry is free, but please register via the registration form at https://forms.gle/VnTYpLJnU6yHz4N3A so they know how many people to expect. Use of the space, tools and guidance is free; donations are welcome. De Standaard focuses on repairs and maintenance, and offers a space where sustainability, social interaction and self-reliance take centre stage.
