Enjoy and explore the Gijsbrecht van Aemstel Park

Nature guide Rob will take you to the Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark. This modernist city park and listed building in Buitenveldert is regarded as a highlight of post-war landscape architecture. The park is mainly planted with native trees and shrubs. Stretching over 2 km, the park forms an ecological corridor between the Amsterdamse Bos and Amstelpark. Together, we’ll see and discover more! The walk will take place on Sunday 19 July 2026 from 11:00 to 12:15. We’ll meet at the gathering point between Willem van Weldammelaan and Van Nijenrodeweg 434. The event is free of charge, but registration is required via rob.de.koff@xs4all.nl.
