Herbal walk: The Medicinal Garden at Beatrix Park

The Artsenijhof is home to no fewer than 250 species of medicinal plants, and they are at their best at this time of year. What are they used for, or were they used for? How do you recognise them? Where do they come from? What active ingredients do they contain? And when are they harvested? This walk will cover chicory, clary sage, St John’s wort and wormwood, amongst others. The walk will take place on Sunday 26 July 2026 from 13:00 to 14:30. The venue is the Beatrixpark in Amsterdam. The event is free of charge, but registration is required via WandelingBeatrixpark@outlook.com. There is a maximum of 12 participants.
