Join in with the community vegetable garden at Osdorp City Farm; every Wednesday and Saturday

Would you like to grow food together with others? At Osdorp Urban Farm, we work in our beautiful vegetable garden every Saturday and Wednesday afternoon from 13:00 to 17:00. We have a tea break at 15:00. Together with the Cityplot coordinators, we grow vegetables and herbs for the farm’s kitchen – and for our volunteers! You’ll learn a great deal whilst working in the garden, as we explain what, how and why – in Dutch, but also in other languages if needed. We make all our own compost using various methods and garden organically, based on permaculture techniques. With our group of volunteers, who come from near and far, we enjoy being outdoors, each other’s company and the harvest, which is transformed every Wednesday in the Buurtkeuken into a delicious two-course vegetarian meal for five – book a place and join us for dinner! If you have any dietary restrictions, we’re happy to accommodate them, and you’re also welcome to join us for part of the afternoon. We strive for inclusivity and equality, and we’d love to welcome you! Once you’ve been along once, you don’t need to book in advance.
