Join the Climate March @ Dam Square

The Climate March will take place on Saturday 12 September 2026 on Dam Square in Amsterdam city centre. Participants will gather at 1.00 pm on Dam Square, and the march will last until around 4.00 pm. The march is organised by the Climate Crisis Coalition, a broad alliance comprising, amongst others, Milieudefensie, Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion, Fossielvrij NL, Fridays For Future, Oxfam Novib and the Young Climate Movement. Tens of thousands of people and civil society organisations are coming together to call for ambitious and just climate policy, just before Prinsjesdag. Everyone is welcome to join the march. In preparation, there will be public rehearsals at De Ceuvel: on 4 September from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm, the ‘Radicaal Zangblok’ at the Workship, and on 8 September at 7.00 pm, a rehearsal by the Amsterdam Climate Choir on the ‘Buurtboot’ at the Workship. Participation in the march is free of charge.
