Land for Life – Film Food Fest 2026
Description
On Sunday 6 December 2026, Voedselpark Amsterdam will screen the documentary Land for Life, which follows four Lenteland farms where farmers have opted for regenerative agriculture. The film shows how soil restoration, biodiversity and local food networks go hand in hand with a sense of purpose and community building, and emphasises that a different food system is already taking shape today, right here in the Lutkemeerpolder. The screening will take place at Cinema De Vlugt, Burgemeester de Vlugtlaan 125, Amsterdam Nieuw-West, from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Tickets cost €13 standard, €9.50 concession (students, over-65s, CJP), €8 for children (aged 2–17), €7.50 with a Stadspas, €2 with a Stadspas promotion, and free with Cineville. Bookings can be made via https://www.cinemadevlugt.nl/. Before the event, at 1.00 pm, there will be the ‘Lutkemeerommetje’, a 1.5-hour walk starting from De Boterbloem farm, Lutkemeerweg 262B, with the theme ‘Give the gift of local organic food’. Register for the walk via activiteiten@voedselparkamsterdam.nl.
