Late-summer excursion to the Slatuin

Come and experience autumn at the Slatuinen Nature Garden! On Sunday afternoon, there’s a guided tour led by a Slatuinen volunteer / IVN guide. You’ll already be able to find a variety of mushrooms there, and there could be even more if the weather is favourable. Last year we counted as many as 25 different types of mushrooms, ranging from large to small – it’s always a surprise. Who knows, we might find the collared earthstar, the blood-stemmed mycene, Judas’s ear and other fungi with colourful names. Together with the guide, you’ll discover all sorts of things about this beautiful nature reserve in the Baarsjes. Before or after the walk, you can view the historical photo exhibition in the garden house whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Maximum of 6 participants per walk (lasting approximately 45 minutes); The guided tour starts at 14:00. Cost: Free. A small donation to Natuurtuin Slatuinen and/or IVN is welcome. Target audience: Anyone aged 5 and over who wants to discover nature and take a moment to appreciate it. Location: Slatuinen Nature Garden.
