Mini-safari on edible wild plants: 26How do plants survive the winter?26

This mini-safari takes place on 18 October 2026, on the third Sunday of every month, with doors opening at 10.50, starting at 11.00 and finishing between 12.00 and 12.30. The activity is in Dutch, but other languages are also welcome. The safari is aimed at children, young people and their parents/carers, with a recommended age range of 5–14 years, but younger and older children are also welcome. Participation is free. You can register in advance using a form (https://forms.gle/TVyvZi2s1v8jmxfj8), but it is also possible to turn up without registering. The mini-safari starts at Ceuvel Square; in inclement weather, it will take place under the canopy of the Maakbar. During the safari, you’ll join a guide to search for edible wild plants and learn how plants survive the winter. Free lemonade and tea will be provided, and from 12 noon Café de Ceuvel will be open, offering a discount to holders of a ‘Groene Stip’ city pass. Children must be accompanied by an adult who remains responsible for them throughout the activity.
