Mini safari on Ivy 2: How does this plant stay green all year round? 2

Set off on an adventure at De Ceuvel during the Ceuvel Christmas Market on 20 December. The mini safari starts at 11.00, with doors opening at 10.50, and ends between 12.00 and 12.30. This activity is aimed at children, young people and their parents/carers, with a recommended age range of 5–14 years, but all ages are welcome. The safari will be led by guide Annet Breure from Plantenverhalen and will focus on ivy, an evergreen plant. There’ll be a cosy hot drink, ivy soap suds and a creative activity where you can make your own holly pendant. Participation is free; you can register via a form (https://forms.gle/GTdqxdaKfENHXT5S6), but you’re also welcome to just turn up. Meet at Ceuvel Square; in case of bad weather, we’ll gather under the canopy of the Maakbar. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Afterwards, Café de Ceuvel will be open, with a discount for ‘green dot’ City Pass holders.
