Mini-safari on willows: What do you know about willows? 2

This mini-safari takes place on 15 November 2026 and is organised on the third Sunday of every month. Doors open at 10.50, it starts at 11.00 and finishes between 12.00 and 12.30. The safari is aimed at children, young people and their parents or carers, with a recommended age range of 5–14 years, but younger and older children are also welcome. The activity is free of charge and you can register via a form (https://forms.gle/TVyvZi2s1v8jmxfj8), but you are also welcome to just turn up. During the safari, you’ll learn how to recognise willow, how it grows and what you can make from it yourself, under the guidance of willow weaver Daan Goppel. We’ll meet at Ceuvel Square; in case of bad weather, we’ll gather under the canopy of the Maakbar. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free lemonade and tea will be provided, and from 12 noon Café de Ceuvel will be open, offering a discount to City Pass holders with a green dot.
