Neighbourhood Meeting: Towards a Sustainable Neighbourhood
Description
Together towards a sustainable neighbourhood
The Eastern Docklands is facing a major transformation: from natural gas to sustainable heating and electricity. And our neighbourhood has plenty of opportunities to make this happen. Over the past few years, the Energy Committee has carried out extensive research, developed ideas and helped get things moving. Now it is time for the next step: deciding together how we can move forward.
On Monday, 2 November at 7:30 pm, the Energy Committee is organising a neighbourhood meeting in the Kompaszaal at Loods 6. We will present the initial proposal for a sustainability plan for the Eastern Docklands and discuss the possibilities with local residents.
How can we make our neighbourhoods natural-gas-free? Can we generate our own heat and electricity and share energy with one another? And above all: how can we develop an approach and timeline that are feasible, practical and affordable for residents?
Join the conversation about the energy of tomorrow. Your ideas, questions and experiences are important in taking the next step together.
