Visit the new art trail in the Amsterdamse Bos from September 4

All around us, there is a world you usually don’t see: fungal networks connecting trees, soil life preserving centuries-old secrets, and phytoncides giving our health a boost.

From early September 2026, Het Onzichtbare Zichtbaar (Making the Invisible Visible) will reveal these hidden layers of the Amsterdamse Bos.

Following a well-attended first edition in 2025, the Amsterdamse Bos is once again becoming the temporary setting for a free outdoor art trail. In this exhibition, artists reveal what lies beneath, between, and all around us.
