POPULAR CUISINE 7/12

Every Monday evening, Café de Ceuvel organises a community dinner with ‘Verdiepende Verhalen’. The evening begins at 18:00 with doors opening; the buffet opens at 18:30 and closes at 20:00. The venue is Café de Ceuvel, Korte Papaverweg 4, Amsterdam. Dining is on a donation basis, with a donation of 5–15 euros encouraged, but everyone is welcome to give what they can spare. Booking is essential and can be made via the website. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, with food served from large pots and tea from thermos flasks on the table. The community kitchen is intended as a living room where young and old eat and chat together.
