Science Weekend at Jeugdland for children

On Sunday 4 October, Jeugdland is taking part in Science Weekend! The afternoon will be all about water. In the workshop led by water expert Michiel, you’ll learn how to filter water from nature using natural materials. Afterwards, Amber from the Water Caravan will take you on a journey into underwater life, and together you’ll build a ‘fish grove’ at Jeugdland – a place for aquatic creatures to take shelter, lay their eggs and find food. Between workshops, you’ll set off on the water treasure hunt and discover, step by step, everything there is to know about the water at Jeugdland. There are two sessions: 11:00–13:00 and 12:00–14:00, starting at the Boothuis. The workshops are suitable for children aged 6 and over. Taking part is free, but registration is required via info@jeugdlandamsterdam.nl, stating your preferred session. The workshops take place outdoors, so please bring a warm jumper or a raincoat. Adults are asked to remain on hand nearby.
