SDG Action Day – 24 September 2026

SDG Action Day is an annual one-day event in the Netherlands that is entirely dedicated to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2026, this day will take place on 24 September, with a programme full of inspiration, workshops and activities in which citizens, organisations and policymakers are invited to reflect together on and take action for a sustainable future. Although SDG Action Day itself has a single specific date, it is often part of a wider programme of activities centred around that day, such as SDG Action Weeks featuring local initiatives, talks and workshops. At the heart of SDG Action Day lie connection and action, with speakers, interactive workshops and tools to turn plans into concrete steps, aimed at a just, inclusive and green society.
