Visible Mending: Winter Jumpers Edition

Visible Mending: Winter Jumpers Edition at De Buurtkringloop: Restore and repair your favourite woollen garments in a visible and creative way. Why hide a repair when you can make it even more beautiful and personal? In this special edition for Climate Week, you’ll learn the technique of wool felting. This is a quick and creative technique for repairing woollen garments. The workshop is led by Gaatjesmakers. The duo Linde and Marieke will briefly explain the basics, after which you’ll get to work on the item you’ve brought along yourself. The workshop includes materials, coffee and tea. Please bring along a woollen item (jumper, sock, scarf – anything) yourself. Participation in the workshop is free and subject to registration. You can sign up by emailing events@debuurtkringloop.nl.
