Workshop: Colours of the Oeverlanden

Workshop: Make your own natural paint. Did you know you can make your own paint from leaves, flowers and twigs? You can give it a go at De Oeverlanden! Artist Hannie van den Bergh will teach you how to collect natural materials and turn them into paint, completely free from chemical nasties. You’ll be painting on paper, fabric, or whatever takes your fancy. No experience is needed – just get stuck in with what nature provides. 18 October: making natural dyes and applying them to textiles. 1 November: hapazome – directly printing plant pigments onto paper or textiles. 8 November: making natural dyes and applying them however you like.
